Job Description How you will change lives As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease.
What you will be doing Patient care.
You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities include completing and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients during treatment.
In addition, you will ensure quality renal care by completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administering medications according to physician orders.
Teamwork.
You will be a critical member of the interdisciplinary team to provide all required patient assessments and care planning activities.
You will also make sure center staffing requirements are maintained under the direction of the Administrator and according to state regulations for staffing ratios.
You will assist with training as requested and lead staff in team concepts and promote a team environment.
Safety & Quality.
You will Initiate and terminate patient treatments to include connecting and disconnecting catheters and cleaning catheter sites per protocol.
You will set up dialysis machines; report machine problems to biomedical technician and/or clinic's Administrator as appropriate.
In addition, you will clean, disinfect and provide quality control of dialysis machines as required by policy and procedures.
The RN will always be familiar with emergency equipment and all emergency operational procedures.
What we're looking for Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis preferred.
12 months or more current nursing experience preferred.
Current nursing license required in the applicable state.
License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
Vaccine Requirement Employees of US Renal Care must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment.
Individuals with medical or sincerely held religious beliefs, practices or observances that prevent them from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine may request an exemption to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement.
This requirement does not apply to positions that are 100% remote and have no direct interaction with patients or staff.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
